Active Older Adults
The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for older adults. They give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or, in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.
Active Older Adults programs include fitness classes to accommodate a variety of functional abilities as well as opportunities for socialization such as Senior Fun Club.
Community Programs & Training
We are committed to providing support to our neighbors and opportunities for kids, adults and families to give, join in or advocate in the name of stronger communities.
Family, Youth & Teens
We provide programs, opportunities, and simply a place to belong and play, so our YMCA youth and families can create, connect and grow stronger together. Please explore the exciting programs and offerings for our youth, teens, and families

We are committed to helping your gymnast develop skills, a competitive spirit and good sportsmanship while maintaining the 6 Pillars of Character® of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring & Citizenship.

Special Events & Rentals
Events and activities make the YMCA of Central Stark County the place to be! You can even rent our facilities for your own special event.
Please contact your local branch for more information and pricing.
Sports & Recreation
We believe sports, fun and exploring new interests aren’t just for the young. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there’s the added benefit of being connected to others. That’s why you’ll find a range of sports and recreational activities at the Y. With something to offer everyone, there’s no such thing as being too old to get in the game.
Swimming
There is a good reason why the Y is referred to as America's Favorite Swim Instructor. Ys have been teaching people of all ages to swim for more than a century. Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Our Ys offer swim lessons (for all ages), family swim, and competitive teams, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.
