BEGINNER GROUP

Ages 10 and under or swimmers of any age in their first year of competitive swimming

Focuses on developing swimmer skills for all four competitive strokes. Swimmers will be required to attend at least 2 of the weekly practices.

Works on technique and endurance, as well as
turns and improvement in all 4 strokes.

David Y Phantoms Swim Team Information

If your child is new to Swim Team, swim testing is required to ensure your child is placed at a level that fits their current skills. 

Team practices start begin in September

The Phantoms swim team compete in regional swim meets against other local YMCA teams.
