Lake AOA Bus Trip: Spring at Kingwood Gardens

It’s Spring and we’re headed to Kingwood Garden Center where hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and shares her exquisite tulips with us!

At Kingwood Mansion, take a self-guided tour of the beautiful gardens, grounds and Kingwood Hall that were part of the 47 acre estate of Charles Kelley King. Of course, there will be time for the gift shop too. After your included lunch, we are headed to Grandpa's Cheese Barn for a little shopping and tasting. Not only will you find local cheeses, chocolates and specialty items, you'll find cheese from all over the world.

Last stop will be at an Amish greenhouse to buy some plants for your own “estate” gardens.

It will be a fun trip to celebrate Spring.

We'll plan to leave by 8:45 am and return back around 6 pm.

Activity level is 4 (walking, stairs).

Price per member is $133 and $143 for non members which is all-inclusive(venues/tours, lunch, snacks, all tax, tips and gratuities). Payment due upon registration.

Registration closes Sunday, March 29. All registrations are non-refundable less than 30 days prior to the trip but can be transferred to another traveler.
