Why We’re Updating Membership Rates

As a nonprofit organization, every dollar we receive goes back into programs, staff, facilities, and services that benefit our community. To maintain and expand these offerings, we must respond to increased operational costs and growing community needs:

  • Rising costs for utilities, equipment, and facility upkeep
  • Competitive wages to retain caring, qualified staff
  • Expanded program offerings for youth, families, and older adults
  • Ongoing investment in health, wellness, and safety standards
  • Your membership helps power all of this, and more.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Beginning December 15, 2025, updated rates will apply to all membership types. Current members will see this change reflected in their draft beginning January 15, 2026.  These updates will ensure:

  • Access to clean, safe, well-maintained facilities
  • High-quality staff and instructors
  • Continuation of programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility
  • Financial sustainability to serve generations to come

New Membership Rates

Effective December 15, 2025 (Sales Tax Included)

FAMILY

One or two adults, living in the same household. Includes dependent children through age 25

ADULT

24 and older, includes dependent children under age 6

Branch-only memberships are currently available exclusively at the Minerva YMCA and provide access only to that facility.

All other membership types are sold as regional memberships, which include access to YMCA locations across Ohio, along with full participation in the Nationwide Membership program.

Branch-only memberships were previously offered at our Alliance, Louisville, and Meyers Lake branches, but have since been discontinued. Members who were already enrolled in these branch-only plans have been grandfathered in, provided their membership remains active without interruption.
