The Lake Community YMCA sports department is committed to providing quality experiences for children, with a focus on basic sports skills and the hope to provide a foundation for socialization and inclusion for all. 

YMCA PROMISE:

No one will be turned away due to the inability to pay. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. All applications are confidential. See the front desk for details.

Programs for girls 1st-6th grade

Designed for all skill levels in a more competitive environment while still focusing on fundamentals and the Y's Core Values.Practices twice a week and games on Saturdays. This league is gender specific

Small Stuff Sports

Program for Ages 3-5

Participation with parents & future all-stars to learn new skills and play games to introduce different sports each week! The class will focus on building your athletes self-confidence and encourages gross motor activity. Come have fun, make new friends, and try new sports at the Y!

Tae Kwon Do

Program Ages 5 and up

Includes a large number of hand and kicking movements. Teaches self-defense, balance and body awareness. Conditions the body, increases your cardio level as well as stretching & strengthening.
