To put Christian Principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Strengthening Community Together

With 2016 on our Horizon, we have much to be thankful for. Did you know that 2016 marks the YMCA of Central Stark County’s 150th Anniversary? It is amazing to be part of an organization that cares for the people and seeks ways to positively impact families, children, and seniors.

At the Y, we believe we have something special—a sense of community—and that everyone should have access to it, along with the programs and services that help us learn, grow and thrive. With your help this year, we are proud to share that the Y gave over $1.5 million dollars of assistance to children, seniors and families who otherwise might not have become part of our Y family.

The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors. All that we do is made possible because of the support that we receive from people that believe in this cause.

As we close out the year 2015 it is with much thanks to our supporters, friends, staff and members that believe everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

As we look ahead to 2016 our hope is to continue to inspire others to lead healthier lives, and we have a year filled with great ways to do this.

May your December be filled with
Peace, Joy and the Love of the Season!
