Tour de Vaughn 10
RIDE AGAINST CANCER
RIDE FOR THOSE WE LOVE
The indoor cycling event that makes a difference!
What is Tour de Vaughn?
Named after Vaughn Prude, a YMCA Cycling Instructor, who lost his battle with Cancer in 2005, the Tour de Vaughn raises money for the North Canton YMCA LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Cancer Wellness Program. This program provides those affected by cancer a FREE 12-week group exercise experience designed to build stamina and strength. It also increases emotional support and provides nutritional education.
Because we have all been touched by Cancer in some way; and it is our way of honoring ALL of those people in our lives—those who have won the battle, and those who have been taken from us.
Who can Ride?
Cyclists and non-cyclists; YMCA members and non-members; people of ANY fitness level are welcome to join us! Even students who are 60” tall (to fit on the bikes) can ride. There will be bikes with back support available as well. Get a team of family, friends and co-workers; This is a GREAT time for a GREAT cause!
$30—which includes a 30 minute ride, a t-shirt, a 10 year commemorative medal, a chance of winning door prizes, and the most rewarding afternoon you’ve ever had. If you wish to ride longer, please include $30 for each time slot selected.
Door prizes will be awarded during each 1/2 hour ride.
