David YMCA Day Camps

Registration Packets Available Now!

Our weekly summer program is for children entering grades K-8.  The children participate in a setting which allows for exploration, crafts, singing, games, swimming, and just plain FUN! The weekly fee covers all supervision, program shirt, transportation, field trip, and admission fees. Weekly deposits are required at the time of registration.  Spots are limited so be sure to sign-up early!  Programs runs from 7:00am-6:00pm (Day Camp hours 9:00am-4:00pm) M-F, June 13-August 26. (No Camp on Monday July 4th)  

 

You can register for one week or for the entire summer!  Each week will be a different theme, look for the Camp Calendar of Events coming soon!

 

Financial Assistance is available through The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services or the YMCA.  Assistance is made possible through the generous contributions from YMCA members and the community to our Strong Kids Campaign. Because of this, our YMCA is able to uphold our promise to never turn anybody way due to inability to pay. For an application, stop by the member service desk or by clicking on the Financial Assistance Application Form on the left side of our Membership page. All applications are kept confidential.

 

*REGISTRATION SPECIAL* If you register for at least 9 weeks of Day camp per child and pay for the entire summer before June 13, you will receive a $10 discount per week! 

 

K-Camp (Children entering Kindergarten)

·     Held at the Jackson Middle School North Cafeteria. 

·     The children have access to the Middle School's gym, cafeteria, fields, and Sauder's playground.

·     K-Camp Registration packet and Parent Manual.

Jr. Day Camp (Children entering 1-2 grade) 

·     Held at the Jackson Middle School North Cafeteria.

Club Mid Day Camp (Children entering 6-8 grade) 

·     Held at the David YMCA multi-purpose room. 

·     The children have access to the Y's gym, pool, and outdoor space

 CIT (Counselor in Training, teens entering 8-12 grade) 

·     All CIT applicants must go through an interview with the Associate Child Care Director, Mary Coverdale,  to be selected for this leadership program.

·     Entering 8-12 grade you may help with Day Camp

·     Entering 9-12 grade you may help with Camp Mid

Important Notes for Day Camp and CIT programs

·         $30 non-refundable annual registration fee is required to enroll a child (max $60 per family)

·         Registration fee is waived for those who paid a child care enrollment fee during the previous school year

·         Each child must have a complete registration packet turned in prior to attending

·         The weekly deposit of $25/week of attendance will reserve your child(ren)’s spots for each week and will be applied to that week’s fee

·         Rate includes an afternoon snack, all field trips and a t-shirt

·         Children must bring a morning snack containing 2 out of the 4 food groups and a nutritious lunch containing all four food groups.  Supplements will be available to buy if children are missing a food group.

·         Each child must wear to camp each day closed toe shoes, sneakers are the best!
