Day camp is a wonderful place for your child to experience fun outdoor adventures this summer. New and returning campers thrive during a week packed full of exciting, structured activities. They’ll learn new skills and build self-esteem while practicing the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Somewhere between becoming an adult and being a kid, our Camp Mid’ers are discovering who they are and who they want to be. At the Y we want to foster the confidence and leadership skills that will help them soar into Responsible, Respectful and Trustworthy young adults. Through FUN and engaging activities each Camp Mid student will explore the positive role model within!
For children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2017. Help your child transition into their new upcoming school experience. Campers will practice listening skills, conflict resolution, sharing and independence skills within our daily activities. Campers will participate in age-appropriate sports, nature projects, art, dance, swimming, walking field trips and fun guest visitors.
Enhance your child’s summer with sports and specialty camps! Designed for campers entering first through eighth grade, each week offers a different option of programming in sports, arts and lego camps. By the end of the week, your child will have a better understanding of the specialty area and develop new skills and techniques.
