The Y's annual support campaign helps kids, families, individuals and seniors in our
community.
This past year, through Strong Kids donations we have helped Eric play baseball the first time since losing his dad.
Mary was able to pick up the pieces after losing her home. Her children now have a safe place to go afterschool and she has gained emotional support!
Tina can continue swim lessons. Although she comes to the pool deck in her wheelchair she has learned to swim. These classes are helping her muscles and coordination to get stronger. For a little while she laughs and is free of her disability.
Through the Ys Annual Strong Kids Support Campaign,we were able to make a difference in the lives of youth, families and individuals in your community.
Since 1866, the YMCA of Central Stark County has provided a variety of programs to those who could not afford to participate otherwise.
HOW you can make a difference:
| Send 3 kids to camp for a week |

| Provide 7 weeks of childcare to a school ager |

| Provide a teen with an annual Y membership |
$300 |
| Provide a year's Y Membership for a youth |
$200 |
| Provide 5 children swim classes for six weeks | $100 |
In 2012
- Nearly, 10,000 members were assisted with program and membership costs
- Over 1,000 kids received assistance with swim lessons, sports and youth programs
- 500+ children received Child Care Assistance
- and several hundred boys and girls were able to attend Summer Day Camp and Camp Tippecanoe
ALL DUE to the generosity of our donors.
Your contribution to the YMCA, no matter how big or small, will help us in our quest to give every child a place to go and a "chance to grow".
