Getting Started with Online Registration

Getting set up with Online Registration is easy to do.

You need a valid email address that will be associated with your membership account information.  The system will send any receipts to your email address and will also provide a way for our membership and program directors to contact you about your online registration.

Note: When logging in for the first time, you will need to use the lower form titled "first time login" where you will tell us your Last Name, First Name, your Email Address, and your Password.  Your password is your first initial, followed by your last initial, followed by your date of birth in MMDDYY format.  For example, John Smith born on August 4th, 1973 would use JS080473 as his password the first time he logs in.  In effort to keep your login secure, please change your password immediately after logging in for the first time by clicking on the "My Information" button.

Registration for New Members

You may now access our Online Registration program even if you are not a member of our YMCA. Click on the Add Member link on the left side of the page and fill in the required information. This will add you to our database as a Program or Basic membership. If you are a Regional Member based at one of the Akron Area YMCA’s or the Alliance YMCA this process will not be able to add you as a Full Member, you need to stop in at one of the YMCA’s of Central Stark County and complete the required form to add you as a full member into our database.

Renewing Your Account

If you are not a member or your membership has expired, please come visit us and our staff will gladly assist you with joining the YMCA or reactivating your membership.

Memberships within the Renewal Period of 30 days are able to be renewed online. Go to My Information, select Renew Membership button at the bottom of the page next to your membership information and proceed with renewing your membership.

Paying for Childcare Online

Child Care payments may also be paid via Online Registration. Simply log into Online Registration, select the family member you wish to make a payment for and select Programs/Balances. Any open program balances will be reflected in RED on the screen. Click on the underlined Child Care Billing, this will take you to the payment page where you can type in the amount that you wish to pay. Proceed to Check Out as normal.

Credit Vounchers and Gift Certificates

At this time, credit vouchers and gift certificates are not able to be redeemed online.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

The YMCA of Central Stark County will make good faith effort to keep personal information confidential. We do our best to store such information in a secure location only accessible by authorized personnel. We will not sell personal information or distribute it to third-parties unless required by law to do so.

Personal information is not collected, except as noted, when browsing the website. Some areas of our site may require you to supply us with personal information; however, this information may be necessary for the purpose of correspondence, exchanging information, site registration or other specified applications. This website does collect public information which includes how you use our site, IP addresses and/or the domain names of the browsers that visit our site, the time of day and length of time our site was visited, and other information that does not identify you as an individual.

The YMCA of Central Stark County may also retain electronic communications you send to our staff representatives, webmaster or other associates. These communications may be shared only within the YMCA of Central Stark County as a means to continually improve our customer service.

The YMCA of Central Stark County considers the individual information we retain as private, our policy is to disclose no personal information gathered on-line unless release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or government proceedings or investigations. The YMCA of Central Stark County does not rent, sell or transmit personal information to other organizations.

Refund Policy

The YMCA reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be given. No refunds will be given for classes unless canceled by the “Y”. If you are unable to take a class due to doctor’s orders, a refund or credit will be given if canceled before the class has begun. After the start of a session, a credit may be given for medical reasons at the discretion of the Department Director.
