North Canton Youth/Teen Sports

Youth Sports in the YMCA is skill-based, but has in addition a character values component. While we want each child to become stronger physically and improve their skills, we also want them to become stronger mentally. Our coaches get training in how to incorporate values into their coaching, and they work to do the right thing at the practices and games. We think you will like the approach that our youth sports takes - playing fairly with good sportsmanship, and exhibiting the values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
