Our Wellness Center is one of the core destinations for members of our YMCA. Here you will observe those learning to improve their strength and those with great strength already. You will see young, middle aged and older, working out side by side. You will find those who are working to improve their health under advisement from their doctor, and you will see those who have always made exercise a way of life. You will see all body types and all abilities. Most importantly, we think you will find that everyone feels at home and comfortable in our environment, regardless of where they may be on the road to well-being. - Consists of a variety of cardio and strength equipment, including free weights.
- For safety and work-out effectiveness, an orientation to the equipment is highly
recommended for all new members, but REQUIRED for all teen members 13-15*
(*upper age may vary by YMCA). - Contains 81 different cardio machines, 57 different strength machines and 2400 sq. ft.
of free weight space. - Age 13 and older on the main floor and Circuit Room, and 16 and older on the balcony.

Maybe North Pole, CO? Or North Pole, AK? Prizes will be given each week! - Report your mileage every week at the Wellness Desk. Record actual mileage from running, biking,

- A fun challenge that can appeal to anyone, because you set your own pace.
- A unique take on the triathlon, this event is distance based not time based.
- 15 minutes to swim as far as you can, 20 minutes to bike as far as you can,
and 20 minutes to run as far as you can. Points are then earned based on
total distance accumulated. - Pick your heat time based on your availability.
- 6 participants per heat.
- Ages 16 and older.
- $Fee based program.
- Utilize our Sportwall & sport core training methods in one great
place to make cross- training fun for everyone. - Combine hand-eye coordination with intense core work; two
important concepts for ALL athletes to comprehend. - Age 9 and older.

KIDS IN A.W.E. (Active Wellness Education)
- Make your kid an AWEsome kid.
- Games & activities for strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
- Learn basic nutrition values & simple, healthy kids' snacks.
- 1 day will be devoted to cooking a simple recipe, food prep, & kitchen safety.
- Ages 5 and older.
