Active Older Adults are involved in every aspect of our YMCA family. On any given day you will see them enjoying the pool, walking on the track, attending the Wednesday social program, moving to the music in fitness classes, lifting a few weights, or simply talking. Active Older Adults (AOA) find the YMCA the perfect place to connect with old friends and meet new ones.
Like the rest of our members, seniors come with a variety of abilities, goals and interests, and are welcome to attend any of our classes. Our hope is that they enjoy and benefit from their activities and, in the process, become stronger in body, mind and spirit.
Click on the program list below to learn more about the programs designed specifically for Active Older Adults or go back to the Group Exercise or Wellness pages for additional opportunities for fitness.
