Body composition is more than skin deep and sometimes, percentages are not enough. The BodyMetrix system is the same professional-grade ultrasound technology used by elite athletes and trainers. This system, now available at the North Canton YMCA can show you actual fat loss and muscle gain and assess targeted areas without embarrasing and painful pinching!
The BodyMetrix Machine will assess and record:
- Body Fat %
- Body scans, tracking fat loss and muscle gain
- Point-specific measurement thicknesses
- Circumference measurements
- Waist to hip ratio
- Basal metabolic rate
- Body mass index
- relative diseasre risk
- Lean body mass
These recorded scans can help you and your trainer to know where you are, physically at one point and allow comparisons to show you just how effective your training and diet programs are working. The BodyMetrix assesments are for people ages 6 through adult.
