Y Preschool: Full day child care program is designed for 3 (potty trained) - 5 year olds to provide numerous opportunities for participation in structured activities such as creative movement, language arts and science and math readiness, as well as free play and discovery time. Must bring lunch and drink, while a nutritious morning and afternoon snack is provided. Hours are 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

The Minerva Area YMCA Preschool children held a Reading contest in March to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. For each book read, a red or white strip (representing Dr. Seuss's hat) was put on the wall along with the name of the book. Total books read from the Preschool class was 597 books with Laney Cowden being the top reader with a personal total of 155 books. Congratulations Laney! A big hand goes out to all the children for a job well done.
