16th Annual Holiday Benefit Auction
The tradition continues. The Minerva Area YMCA will sponsor its Sixteenth Annualy Holiday Benefit Auction on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Once again, the Auction will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Canton McKinley Grand Hotel. Doors will open at 5:00 pm for the viewing of items as well as the bidding of silent auction items. Buffet style dinner will be served at 6:30 pm with the Oral Auction to follow. Theresa Kiko-Blocher will be the auctioneer once agian this year. We guarantee you will enjoy an outstanding meal as well as an evening of fun with good friends and loyal supporters of our local YMCA! In the month of February, we were excited to be part of the "Life Well Laughed" program from Take2Media. They provided delicious samples of Babybel Swiss Cheese and awesome workout attire for some fun photos! The samples were enjoyed by members and class participants.
We also welcomed the Wheaties Fuel Sampling Program. We had a table full of free samples of the Wheaties fuel cereal for our members to take home and try after their workout. Some fun pictures and feedback was received from this promotion.
