LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP-Teens Ages 14 to 18
This is a progressive program designed to engage teens to become future leaders and have good character. Each level of LTC is progressive with the messages and activities being used as the foundation for learning. LTC is open to any teen meeting the age and grade requirements. They do not have to complete a previous level to participate. This is the next step in the camp experience and the road to working as a camp counselor.

L.I.T.s will participate in a 3 day session at camp focused on developing future staff, good character qualities, service learning and servant leadership. L.I.T.s will learn through the same types of trainings our staff complete which will be taught by our outstanding counselors. There will also be fun built in, where L.I.T.'s discover unique camp activities. To apply for this program, please register at 330-499-2587. During one of those weeks they will help and stay with a 7-9 year old cabin and choose between lifeguard training on the waterfront or wrangler training in the horse barn. During the other week, they will help and stay with a 10-12 year old cabin and choose from one of the program paths to assist. Each week, the C.I.T.s will learn the foundations of teamwork and responsibility through specialized activities as well as counselor mentoring. CHARACTER COUNSELORS- Must be at least 17 years old and entering into 12th grade
Character counts at camp and it starts with our terrific counselors. The six pillars of character (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring & citizenship) are the basis for these participants. Character counselors are the leaders of good character in camp and are asked to help promote the pillars of character to the camper population. Jobs are designed to assist in areas where our staff need help most. Volunteers who help in this program are selected by our Camp Staff and can help at camp by invitation only.
