The Lake YMCA School-Age Program is a before- and after-school program.
- Available to children in Kindergarten - 5th grade who attend
Lake Local Schools. - Before-school care is available beginning at 7:00 am until the children are dismissed for school.
- After-school care is available from the time the children are finished with classes until 6:30 pm.
- Children participate in a variety of activities, such as homework assistance, playground and gym time, music, reading, board games, crafts, and toys.
- They also receive a daily nutritious afternoon snack.
Financial assistance is available.
Through generous contributions from YMCA members and Strong Kids campaign sponsors, no one is turned away from the YMCA due to an inability to pay.

Financial assistance is available through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the YMCA. Click on the ODJFS Child Care Benefits Application and ODJFS Instructions to begin the application process with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
You can also call into the Child Care Office for a Child Care Case Worker name and phone number.
