Full Basketball Court
In 1990, the Louisville YMCA experienced the first of two major renovations. A double gym was added to the existing pool, locker rooms, offices and activity room.
The current gymnasium consists of one full basketball court with scoreboard and one full court sized gymnastics area, part of which serves as an 1/2 basketball court during Youth basketball season. The gymnasium can also be set up for volleyball, dodgeball, and indoor soccer.
The gymnastics area is fully equipped, consisting of a tumble track, floor exercise area, even and uneven parallel bars, high bar, vault, pommel horse, and three balance beams graduating in height from floor level to competition level. The Louisville Gymnastics team hosts several meets during the competitive gymastics season.
A 1/12 mile walking track completes the gymnasium.
