Family, Youth & Teens

The YMCA of Central Stark County offers various programs for the entire family to enjoy together such as our annual Pumpkin Splash or Family Nerf Wars. Please see the list below of upcoming family programming at all 9 of our branches

Stay tuned for upcoming fall family programming! 

Kids Night Out is a program that allows kids to have night of fun on their own. This event includes dinner, crafts, games, and other activities all centered around the theme of the event. This recurring event takes place throughout the year at all 9 of our branches. Event times: 6:00pm-9:00pm.

 YOUTH and GOVERNMENT

Students learn about the legislative process, how to write and research bills, and how to participate in elections.
Their work culminates in students serving as delegates at the state conference, debating bills on the floor of the legislature, and some students have actually made bills into laws!

  • Weekly meetings
  • Students 6th - 12th grade

 

Teen Leaders Club

The purpose of Leaders Club is to expose teens (6th -12th grade) to different ideas and opportunities in their lives and communities. Through volunteering and leadership they will gain insight into helping others and the importance of teamwork within their YMCAs, schools and communities. Meetings are currently being held at two locations:
