An instructor teaches swim lessons

In swim lessons at the David YMCA, not only are you taught how to swim, but you also learn about yourself, the 6 pillars of Character Counts, safety and rescue skills, and water activities you can enjoy for a lifetime.

A variety of class times and types are available to meet your family's needs: mornings, afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays.

Not sure which lesson to place your child? It is important that children are placed in the correct level. Please consider the following class requirements and goals before registering your child.  We value your feedback! Please feel free to contact our Aquatic Associate Directors, Sarah Davis or Ashley Poorman, with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.

For information on dates, times and pricing, please refer to pages 12-19 of our Program Guide or call the David YMCA at 330-830-6275.
