The Carroll County YMCA hosts and participates in a number of community-based activities throughout the year. Below are some of the events and activities currently being offered.

Back-to-School Safety and Wellness Extravaganza
The Back-to-School Safety and Wellness Extravaganza is a family event at the Carroll County Fairgrounds with games, giveaways and stations focusing on health and safety. The event is again open to the public and will be held on August 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bike rodeo, school supplies given away for school-age through fifth-grade kids, interactive safety stations, a raffle, a family safety education trailer, the bounce house and much, much more. This event is hosted by Carroll County Safe Kids and is sponsored by the Carroll County Health Department and the Carroll County YMCA.
The Summer Safety Kick-Off is held each spring. It is sponsored by Carroll County Safe Kids and held at the Malvern School. Join the Carroll County YMCA and other community organizations to learn how to get ready for a fun and safe summer! The event is free and open to the public. The 2012 event will be held May 4 from 11am-1pm.
Weight Watchers meets at the Carroll County YMCA each Thursday evening. Weigh-in begins at 5 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Mark Blitz at 330-868-9874.
New Beginnings Bible Church meets each Sunday at the Carroll County YMCA. Service begins at 10:30a.m., and currently consists of Focus on the Family's "The Truth Project." New Beginnings Bible Church is a non-denominational congregation. Contact Pastor Barry at 330-627-0254 for more information.
