The David YMCA, in conjunction with Safe Kids Stark County, will be sponsoring a car seat checkup during our annual Healthy Kids Day event. Ohio's new booster seat law went into effect on October 7, 2009 with April 7, 2010 being the date that law enforcement can begin giving tickets.
Is your child within the new law? Want to make sure? Come to our FREE car seat checkup! We will have certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians on hand between 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm to check your seats. Stop by the Y before or after and enjoy the many activities at our Healthy Kids Day too!
