Starting January 1st of this year, the staff at Camp Tippecanoe began to track each referral, hour volunteered and dollar donated as points in a competition called the Tip Games. For each of these, the donor is asked to choose a team of the Ridge, the Ranch, East Village (Unit 1) and West Village (Unit 2). The goal is for one team to earn the majority of points by September 1st, when we will have a full day of friendly camp games at Tippecanoe. The winning team will earn the right to choose a major project for our Work Weekend.
You can begin to help your team by emailing us at carriew@ymcastark.org when you refer a camper, make a donation or volunteer for camp. For every dollar donated, 1 point is given to the team of your choice, for each hour volunteered, 10 points are given and for each camper referred, 20 points will be awarded to your favorite of the teams.
