Camp Director- Scott Weigley Scott has been the Camp Director since 2007. From 2004 to 2007 Scott worked as the Program Director for Deer Valley YMCA Family Camp which is a branch of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He is a native of Altoona, PA, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Scott is an active member with the American Camp Association and is a volunteer site visitor for other camps.
Camp Administrator- Carrie Weigley Scott is happily married to his wife Carrie who also has a passion for kids and camping. They met at Deer Valley as counselors as well as worked for the camp and got married by the lake too. She works alongside Scott every day at camp along with their girls Maranda, Trinity and Bella. (Bella is the dog in case you were wondering.) The family loves camp, the outdoors and mostly, to have fun.
Facility Managers- Linda and Delbert Toland For over ten years, Linda and her husband Delb have done an incredible job of caring for the land and facilities around Camp Tippecanoe. They live close by camp, have a great love for animals and, unfortunately for the Weigleys, are huge fans of the Cleveland Browns.
Our Summer Staff- Each year we hire a couple dozen amazing individuals who take care of campers, horses, food and facilities. Each of them has survived our rigorous hiring process and has proven to be an outstanding citizen of good character and great addition to our Tippecanoe family.
