YMCA Child Care Programs
The YMCA of Central Stark County is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable child care. As the nation's largest provider of child care programs, YMCAs provide family-centered, values-based programs to nurture children's healthy development. Like all YMCA programs, child care is open to all, with financial aid available.
Work Without Worry
For the times you can't be there yourself, the YMCA supports your efforts to nurture your child's healthy development. Well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work.
YMCA Child Care Programs make sure that your child's time spent in a child care setting is filled creatively and constructively. Children find out what success is all about in an approach that says "everybody plays, everybody wins." Time is also set aside for tackling homework, with adult help available.
Collectively, YMCAs are the country's largest provider of child care and are committed to developing and operating the highest-quality child care programs possible. YMCAs seek to provide child care that supports and strengthens families and nurtures the healthy, successful growth and development of each child involved.
The YMCA was one of the first national organizations to take a stand in the critical area of child abuse prevention. When parents drop off their children at the YMCA, they're entrusting them with their greatest treasures. YMCAs take that responsibility very seriously. Parents are encouraged to visit at any time and be involved in ensuring the safety of all children in Y programs.
Financial assistance is available through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the YMCA. Through generous contributions from YMCA members and Strong Kids campaign sponsors, no one is turned away from the YMCA due to an inability to pay. All applications are confidential.
