About the Carroll County YMCA
The Carroll County YMCA was started in 2000 through an initiative grant from the United Way. In January of 2009, the YMCA completed a renovation project expanding its facilities to include a Wellness Center, Free Weight Room, Yoga / Pilates Room, and new restroom; shower and locker areas. The gym and halls also received upgrades. The Carroll County YMCA has grown from a 30-member program site to having over 200 members and a full-service facility.
Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Our Promise: Through generous contributions from YMCA members, friends and United Way, no one is turned away from the YMCA due to inability to pay. All applications are confidential.
